Purpose of MOU
The purpose of this MOU is to undertake collaborations in purely academic purpose and to explore the possibility of establishing a partnership tor the Scientific exploration and development of different sectors of engineering and technology, together with the industries of relevant fields.
Institute of Engineering & Management Group partners with SMS Group Pvt Ltd to set up a Center of Excellence in Industrial Automation. SMS Group stands for future-oriented technology and outstanding service in plant construction and mechanical engineering for the metals industry. The MoU signing Ceremony was held on 2nd June’2023, at IEM Gurukul Campus, Kolkata and was signed by Mr. V V Sitaramaya, Vice President, Head of EA Flat Rolling Mills, Electrics/Automation on behalf of SMS Group & Mrs Gopa Goswami, Director Corporate Relations, UEM-IEM Group. Automation Course has been designed by Industry subject matter experts. Our students' educational success in industrial automation will be aided by this Center of Excellence.
